Auschwitz guards charged

30 alleged Auschwitz death camp guards should be charged, prosecutors say

German justice officials say that 30 former guards should face charges for their role in facilitating mass murder at the Auschwitz concentration camp. The Nazis killed some 1.5 million people, mostly Jews but also Roma, Poles and others, at the death camp in occupied Poland between 1940 and 1945.

To be completely honest, I think that it is good thing that they are arresting the guards. Those guards were a part of a mass killing and they need to do their time, even if they are at the age of 80, or 90.

In my opinion I think that it is a good thing that all of those guards are getting put to justice. Even though they are in their 80s and 90s. I think this way because they killed a lot of Jews that shouldn't have been killed. They also killed a lot of U.S. troops who were trying to help and protect the vulnerable Jews. -Seth Still
