More apps for students (and teachers)

Mrs. Klopfleisch just clued me into a few links for great apps for students - of all ages (meaning some are for lower age groups, but you can figure that out).

A few that I want to draw your attention to:

 EasyBib

Create accurate MLA, APA, and Chicago style citations in seconds by scanning a book bar code or by typing the name of a book with the EasyBib Android app. Build and manage your works cited. Once done, email your citations and then export your citations to EasyBib.com's popular bibliography management service.

My Congress

Students are always asking me about elected officials. (Trying to get me to tell them what they should have researched.)

MyCongress is a portal to detailed information about your elected U.S. Congressional officials. Track their news, video and Twitter feeds. Look up their official Open Congress profile or contact them directly. MyCongress helps you get in touch with your government.
